What perfect way to end the night, a sweet cool treat with a dear friend. They blush a bit as they admit that they have a love for sweets. You ask them about their happy grin teasingly. A soft smile adorns their face as they take a bite. You see a new side to Lance as you hand them a bowl. Both of you waiting for the ice cream to finish mixing. You recount your day’s events as Lance listens, making a few comments here and there. It’s almost unnoticeable but you definitely catch their eyes light up a bit at your offer. You stand next to them as you explain what ice cream is and ask if they would like some. It smells sweet, they’re instantly intrigued, they ask what it is. With everything forgiven, they come closer to look into the bowl as you return to your original task. You lightheartedly scold them for scaring you and they laugh a bit as they apologize.

You let out a surprised yelp, you were not expecting company so late at night. You turn to retrieve the mixer from the fridge and you catch a glimpse of Lance out of the corner of your eye. Being friends now - they hope at least - they approach you but say nothing, content to watch you make whatever it is that you’re making until you notice them. They didn’t expect to find you here, stirring some strange looking concoction in a bowl, so late at night. Curious about the noise they would take a peek inside. They were probably walking down the hall when they heard a racket coming from the kitchen. A homemade treat from a dear friend? Why, he may just shed a tear from such joy. Though his praise may be an exaggeration to you, it is genuine to him. He will sing compliments of your cooking talent, telling you how delicious this is and how amazing you are. With a huge grin he would dig in with gusto. He doesn’t indulge in human food often but would happily sample some if you offered. Chatting about your day and questions like what made you want ice cream? What flavor are you making? Can he have some? And a whole other array of topics as you both wait for the ice cream to churn and chill. Would chat with you as you go about your business, as long as that’s alright with you, he would hate to distract you. He would offer to help you but if you have no need of it, he would content himself in simply observing. As you busied yourself in the kitchen, he would remain lingering around watching as you make this frozen treat, with your permission of course.

His grin somehow spread even wider as he stated that it sounded like a wonderful idea. You told him you wanted to make ice cream. He said yes but questioned you on what you might use it for. You had asked him if he had a kitchen you could borrow.
